We are a locally focused organization with a national presence. RedZone provides consultants, managers, and security staff in Southern California. We also provide security consultants and management teams for clients throughout the United States. 

 

Our staff is board-certified in security management and spectator sports security, providing superior security services to over 2 million patrons a year. We are proud to be members of the largest and most respected safety and security industry organizations: ASIS International and the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4). Ron Ayala

President

Ron Ayala honed his security expertise with over a decade of service in the LA County Sheriff's Department - Special Investigations Division, and thirty years of private sector executive protection/security/investigation. His assignments span the United States, China, and Mexico.

A full-service approach to client needs includes: Development and Implementation of cross platform security/safety plans. Oversight integration of law enforcement, EMS/fire, contracted security services, volunteers, vendors, tournament staff and sanctioning officials. Provide training for event staff, enabling them to execute the tailored security/safety plan. Providing after action reports. Using expert observation and assessment, the reports offer suggestions for improvement of security/safety plan. This assessment template provides the client with a “Best Practices” approach to maintaining the effectiveness of the event-tailored safety/security plan. 

Karleigh Bower

Director of Administrative & Event Services

Karleigh has over 10 years experience in security and staff management. For the last decade she has successfully led teams at major professional sporting events such as the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament, The American Express Golf Tournament and major music festivals such as Coachella Music Festival and Stagecoach Music Festival. Karleigh has also managed major conference events such as TEDWomen. She is not only responsible for overseeing the entire administrative department both in the office and the field but also all staffing and personnel related issues. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Cedarville University, she has shown the effort and grit it takes to effectively run major events.

Edward Bogle

Director of Operations

Edward has over 15 years of managerial experience in multiple operational areas. He brings a hands on approach with not just our employees but especially our clients.

Some noteworthy events Edward has managed include the US National Pickle-ball Championships, Coachella Festival, Stagecoach Festival, and Palm Springs International Film Festival. Edward's primary goal when managing any type of event is to secure the venue, the patrons and prepare for any potential threats. Preparation includes not only proper security guard placement and training but also a whole catalog of vetting procedures RedZone has put together for each of their clients. Edward looks at the entire picture in order for the operations to run smoothly and effectively.

Jeff Gonzalez

Director of Business Development

Jeff Gonzalez is a security and counterintelligence expert with nearly 30 years of management experience and over 20 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. Jeff has served as a Marine Embassy Guard in Central America, Africa, and Eastern Europe. He was also assigned to the protective detail for the Secretary of State. His global assignments took him to Central America, Africa, Europe, Asia, as well as 2 combat tours to Iraq and 2 combat tours to Afghanistan. Jeff has conducted security and intelligence operations throughout the entire world. Not only does he have government expertise, he also has expertise in corporate America. Jeff was the Director of Security for Macy’s in Herald Square, New York City. During his time there he oversaw the protection of celebrities during the Macy's Day Parade. Jeff holds certifications in operations center management, surveillance, counter-surveillance, investigations, counterintelligence operations, HUMINT operations, threat vulnerability assessments from the Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy and the Navy/Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center. He also has a degree in Strategic Intelligence and a degree in Homeland Security Emergency Management with a minor in Criminal Justice
